Are the MCP servers free?
Yes. Every MCP server is free to install and use. Free accounts get 5 credits per month, enough to try each tool. Pro and Scale add more credits and formatted output.
What counts as a credit?
Each tool call costs 1 to 3 credits depending on complexity. A basic probe costs 1 credit. A full competitive comparison costs 3. Your dashboard shows credit usage in real time.
Do I need to bring my own API keys?
For the Share of Model server, you provide your own API keys for the AI models you want to probe (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Perplexity). ScrappyCMO does not proxy these calls or store your keys.
When will Pro and Scale be available?
Join the waitlist for early access. Pro launches alongside the Positioning Coach MCP server.
Can I self-host?
The MCP servers are published on npm under the @scrappycmo scope. You can run them on your own infrastructure. Paid features (reports, tracking, artifacts) require a subscription.
What happens if I run out of credits?
Free accounts reset monthly. Pro and Scale accounts can purchase additional credit packs. We will never cut you off mid-analysis; if a tool call starts, it finishes.
